Boldly Declare

Brothers and sisters, as things continue to move forward with uncertainty, I am so grateful for our knowledge of the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for a Prophet and Twelve Apostles that help guide us through these crazy times.

It amazes me and builds my testimony to know that, as most people and organizations are trying to pull back and minimize, the Lord is pushing the work forward through revelation, establishing itself as the kingdom of heaven here on earth.

I love the New Restoration Proclamation to the world! There have only been five proclamations to the world since the Church was organized. I don’t think that it was a coincidence that the Lord revealed it when he did. There are so many people lost and wondering at the moment with everything going on and now the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stands a-blaze inviting all to come unto our Savior! In President Nelson’s address “Hear Him” he talks about how he and The Twelve were debating erecting a monument for the 200th anniversary, but felt impressed to create a monument “…not of granite or stone but of words… not to be carved in ‘tables of stones’ but rather to be etched in the ‘fleshy tables’ of our hearts.”

In the proclamation, they boldly declare that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints “is Christ’s New Testament Church restored” with Jesus Christ as the chief corner stone. That Jesus Christ has once again called Apostles, has given them priesthood authority, and established all of the ordinances of salvation. Also that the heavens are open!

In the short 200 years since the initiation of the restoration, the Church has grown at an incredible rate to cover the whole world with millions of members. Only through divine guidance could that have been possible.

As the new Proclamation takes place in our hearts, let us have courage to boldly declare as our loving Prophet has that this is the Church of Jesus Christ and through him we can find true joy in these trying times.

We love you very much brothers and sisters. Thank you for all that you do!
