Some important announcements:
– There will be a Relief Society activity on November 10 at 6:30pm (the ward building). There will be YUMMY baked goods at this event, so you won’t want to miss it!
– Our lesson on November 13, will be covering the recent Conference talk, “Seeing More of Jesus Christ in Our Lives” (Tracy Y. Browning).
– We will be starting our Inklings Study Group on November 15, from 11am-12pm, in the Relief Society room. The nursery will be open for small children. You should have received an email with more details, but in case you missed it… Emily Belle Freeman hosts a weekly podcast, titled “Inklings Institute.” Each week, she and other women discuss their takeaways from different conference talks. To prepare for our first group meeting, you can read “Jesus Christ Is the Strength of Youth” (Elder Uchtdorf) and “Seeing More of Jesus Christ in Our Lives” (Tracy Y. Browning), as well as the following scripture passages: Timothy 4 and Alma 25:15-16. Additionally, we encourage you to listen to the ‘Inklings Institute’ podcast episode in preparation for our discussion. It may take some time for all the details of this group to smooth out, but we are really looking forward to getting this group going.
