RS Presidency Message

In these trying times that seem like they will never end and you’re tired of coping with your kids and sometimes your husband all day every day, then it is time to think of others outside your family unit and lift their spirits. Try these things:

1- call and ask questions about them. Not about you.
2- Be supportive.
3- Be there for the long-haul.
4- Take the first step out of your comfort zone.
5- Don’t say if there is anything I can do to help, please call me. You’ll never get a call.

I really like when I’m making choices of what to do to remember what President Gordon B Hinckley said “we can be wise and happy or stupid and miserable. The choice is yours.”

-Mary Lou Davies, RS Presidency Counselor
